Golden Beach by VK4KC

Golden beach has calm waters due to the shelter of the north tip of Bribie Island. It is only a 5 minute drive from Caloundra. It was A fine winters day and late afternoon when I began to activate. Alan VK1AO was also activating a beach at the same time and we made a beach to beach contact on 40 metres. 40 metres was the band that I made most contacts. We have some really keen beach chasers in Australia and I thank them for the contacts.
