Leven Beach is located about 258km from the city of Adelaide. It is located just north of the little town of Corny Point on the Yorke Peninsula. The beach takes its name from Leven in Scotland. Thomas and William Laidlaw Davidson were lessees of nearby sections they called Levens on Yorke Peninsula. The family came from near the town of Leven in Scotland. I operated on the beach with my Yaesu FT857d, 40 watts and a 20/40/80m linked dipole. I made a total of 49 QSOs
