Wurtulla by VK4KC

Mark VK4TI and I enjoyed the activation this morning at Wurtulla beach. It was overcast but a nice temp with no wind. We setup just off the beach on the dune to get the antennas up high for the chasers to the south and west. A perfect view to watch the surfers. Propagation was a bit average but we managed enough contacts. Thank you to the chasers. 

Equipment used: Xiegu X6100 running R1CBU firmware v.0.17.1, the Maddog coil with military style whip elevated about 1 metre with counterpoise wires. Also deployed was the EFHW wire antenna up around 8 metres which Mark used with his Xiegu G90.
