BOTA Activator 100

BOTA Activator 100 is the second-level award for activators, which requires a minimum of 100 activator points. Activators accumulate points with each QSO. Their total score is calculated by adding the square root of the number of QSOs made in each different activation. Activators can activate the same beach as many times as they wish and they will always earn additional points. However, there will be decreasing returns to each additional QSO within a single activation due to the square-root rule, which encourages the exploration of new beaches.
