I passed my ham radio exams in 1993 but I didn't start to use my present callsign until April 2012. I work the 6-160 metres and the WARC bands. Both phone and digital modes (FT8, PSK and RTTY). Also VHF/UHF. My home equipment is quite simple: a Yaesu FT-857D and a remote tuner with a long wire. When I go portable I use a PCR 320 Clansman transceiver (British Army surplus) and a 2 metres long whip antenna. 10-10 International Net member. URE member.
