Hello to all Radio Amateur's in Indonesia and all around the world, "Apa Kabar Semuanya?"=> which is meant "How Are You?", Okaayy...Let me introduce myself my name is Hengky The, "Hengky" is my first name and "The" is my family name and I am from Indonesia, not single anymore Hehe-Hehe I am married and I have three children’s, my QTH is in Pangkalpinang City, It is a capital city of Bangka-Belitung Province. Basically, Bangka and Belitung is an Island and both of the Islands is represent the Bangka-Belitung province in Indonesia. Oh yeah i almost forgot, people in my country usually call me Hengky….Just Hengky only okay…he Hehe... Now I am a Licensed Radio Amateur with Advanced Class, my call sign is "YF4KIE" and this is my new hobby and honestly to tell you, I really enjoy it…. Before, I am more in Riding a Motorbike (Harley Davidson) to all destination that I like to go with all of my member in my Motor Club and for sure I have Ride my Motorbike travel around my country, i think almost 65 percent all the state in my country (Indonesia) that I have visited and also if talking about Worldwide i have visited a few country like Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, China, South-Korea, Japan, Russia and a few of Europe Country Like i am riding from Germany - Munich to Amsterdam and continue riding to finish line in France. Yup for sure until now i am still an active motor club member of H.O.G (Harley Owner Groups) and in Indonesia I am still an active President of Motor Besar Club - Bangka Chapter, hee-hee that’s if we are talking about Motorbike World. But now situation is totally different than before because as we know all around the world, we are facing the same thing which we called it Pandemic...yup Covid19...., so that is why temporary I am not riding my motorbike and finally I have found a new hobby that is to become a Radio Amateur beside become a Bikers Hehe-Hehe. Very "Fantastic" and "Addicted" in Radio Amateur World, is totally different the way we want to have more friend from own country to overseas and the way we want to express our self as a Radio Amatuer, and for sure before we start all of that we need to know all those devices and the most important thing is we must have the License and must know the code of conduct as a Radio Amatuer before we operate those device in a Frequency. so far I have learned a lot from all Radio Amatuer in my country and outside my country. My Radio Amatuer Licensed is under "Indonesian Radio Amateur Organization - ORARI" and I joint the organization since last year. Really thanks and appreciate a lot to my Dad (Andri The) who is the Retired Radio Amatuer with the call sign YD4FTH, thanks a lot Dad...., Love you fully and respect fully as my mentor...Yup Continue....yes about the devices so far I have a bunch of radio devices from VHF to HF - 2 meter band until 80 meter band, VHF I have my favorite that Kenwood TR 9130 and Trio 9000G classic but powerful and Icom IC-229H, Alinco DR-135 MK3 and Kenwood XIR M3688, for HF i have YAESU FT180A Custom and Icom IC 7610 and for sure with a bunch of type antenna Hehe-Hehe, each of this devices I have learn their capability and is really fantastic and more than that I also using digital devices such as digital radio, interface device and software application for crossing to those analogue radio since technology is already sophisticated in this modern era. Many software application that I have learn since I am a Bachelor of Computer Science from Napier University UK I really love to use those applications such as eQSO Applications, Echolink, FRN and Teamspeak3. I also have my own server in teamspeak3 application that have been built by me and together manage with all of my Radio Amatuer friends in Indonesia. Our Server we named it Ham Radio Indonesia and it's already on the air since "First of April 2021" and it's really invited positive response from all Radio Amatuer from Indonesia and Overseas. Yup for sure all Radio Amatuer can come and visit. Our Teamspeak3 server address is "hamradio.id" for those running old version in ts3client or "hamradio.ip-dynamic.com" for those who running new version in ts3client, eQSO server address is "eqso-hamradio.ip-dynamic.com", FRN server address is "frn-hamradio.ip-dynamic.com" and finally our Echolink Node is YF4KIE-L - HAM RADIO INDONESIA. All those servers is cross and connected to radio analogue from all Radio Amatuer repeater in different state of Indonesia and it's running 24 hours every day and it's become facility for all Radio Amatuer in my country who can accept this way of communicating especially those Radio Amatuer. Okay Let’s Continue....our net is every day and it's start from 12.00 UTC, and for sure every day with the different net control station. Really enjoy it god, but of course we can’t rule out our main job and for me, sure I am a business man, a President Director of my company, as a Radio Amateur we must balanced when it’s time for hobby and when it’s time we must work, I think that’s all I can share for all of you, finally hope that me and all of my Radio Amatuer friend in Indonesia can start for the BOTA but for sure one them will start soon and I will follow when their ready to on air from the beach…great from the beach….and are you ready?….lets rock n roll in the air from beach….73 cerio to all bye-bye… HENGKY THE (YF4KIE) HAM RADIO INDONESIA©
