About me:
I have been an organized radio amateur since 1973 with my membership in the then District Radio Club LZ2KBS/LZ2KBA in Veliko Tarnovo. From the time of my membership in this club, I have the listener number LZ-2-F-266. Since 1987, I have owned a personal amateur radio station with the callsign LZ3AI. I was in charge of the Municipal Radio Club - Gorna Malina and its radio station LZ1KGL from 1987 to 1990. I passed the exam for radio amateur-operator class "A", equivalent to the current radio amateur class 1. My exact QTH locator is KN12pq05wo ;-). (TNX TK5EP to define it!)
I love to DIY QRP rigs for CW.
Currently I have a transceiver Yaesu FTDX-10, an antenna GPRV and an automatic antenna tuner ATU-130. Regardless of the 100 watts it provides, I prefer to run it on low power, usually 9-10 watts. I have transceiver Yaesu FTX1 Field for POTA/SOTA and JPC-12/Rybakov/EndFeed 49:1 es 64:1 antenas for different situations and antenna tuner FC-90. Sometime I prefer to use it frome home.
I prefer CW on stright key and digital modes to work on the hunt for DX and interesting callsigns. Contests are not my area.
I am a member of the Straight Key Century Club (Member №27910), the Croatian Telegraph Club CTC (Member №2440) and the G-QRP Amateur Radio Club, England (Member №7852). I have actively participated in the activities of BFRA (Bulgarian Federation of Radio Amateurs) and BADG (Bulgarian Radio Amateur Digital Group) and from May 2010 to December 2013 I was a member of the Management Board of BFRA.
