Monte Rio

This is a very nice dark sand beach. It is safe and served by several bed and breakfast and local restaurants. Monte Rio is the closest for Azua's local beachgoers. The seafood is found fresh around because local fishermen serve the area. There are some little rocks in some of the beach locations and some mud can be found after Sandy Storm between the coastline and the restaurants. Tides tend to be low, and wind gust can be a little bit annoying during some early nights
