I live in N. Texas but once a year I take a trip down to Galveston for a couple of weeks. I normally kayak fish the coastal bays and estuaries for speckled trout, redfish and flounder. I also bring along my Xiegu G90, Icom 7300 and a variety of antennas for Parks on the Air. I'm going to give Beaches on the Air a try this September. Hope to hear you on the air! The Gulf coast of Texas spans over 350 miles so finding a place to operate won't be a big deal.
