hello, my portable equipment using during beach activation is a ft-857 and a hf-p1-antenna, sometimes when the car is nearby the beach a bigstick. and if hf-ssb is not possible, i use uhf/vhf-fm, sometimes also with echolink. my fav beach for activation is the "grosse blies", an inner city beach of the city of ludwigshafen (my home qth), state of rhineland-palatinate in southwest germany. a special qsl card for the beach qsos will be designed and will be available via the bureau. of course your qsl cards are also very welcome (via the bureau preferred). hope2hearU ...
