Activated many lighthouse on Texas Gulf Coast and museum ships. All operations are using battery power with my FT 817 and a 50 watt amp. Antenna is a 17’ MFJ 1979 telescopic vertical. Have an Alpha loop,as well. Live close to several beaches on upper Texas gulf coast. Would like to try beach activations. My coast watching corgi, Dani, is usually along for the ride!
